Argonees Adventure Cards

Adventure cards are a way to introduce instant rewards for things that please me (to be very frank about it). These can be anything from saying something witty (that doesn’t distract from game play) to coming up with a great plan to excellent heroic descriptions!

Adventure cards will change from time to time. If you have ideas about cards (especially if you’re one of my players) please leave a comment.

  • Name: “Action Boy!”
  • Action: +1 AP that must be used before end of session
  • Name: “As iron sharpens iron…”
  • Action: +10 to an attack roll of your choice
  • Name: “Do what I say…. Or else…”
  • Action: +10 on Social Check (Diplomacy, Gather Info, Intimidate, etc)
  • Name: “Feel my (elemental) wrath!!!”
  • Action: +1d4 Elemental Damage until End of your Next Turn
  • Name: “Fire, Earth, Water & Air”
  • Action: +1d6 Elemental Damage on your next hit of your Elemental Affinity
  • Name: “Fortitude, get you some!!!”
  • Action: +2 on your next Fortitude Saving Throw
  • Name: “I don’t think so…”
  • Action: Ignore Enemy Critcal Hit (Apply Regular Hit Instead)
  • Name: “I found something!!!”
  • Action: ???
  • Name: “I meant to do that… seriously….“
  • Action: Next Critical Failure is a Critical Hit, Roll to Confirm
  • Name: “I see you.”
  • Action: +10 to Spot Check
  • Name: “I thought about going, but before I could move my feet, I was already there!”
  • Action: Move up to twice your normal movement as a move action. You simply exit one spot and move to another. This action does not provoke AoO’s.
  • Name: “I’ll take another please…”
  • Action: Take another standard or move action the round you discard this card
  • Name: “I’ve found something over here…”
  • Action: +10 to your NEXT search check.
  • Name: “Lucky Duck”
  • Action: +1 on your next Saving Throw
  • Name: “May the force be with you.”
  • Action: +20 on your next attack roll.
  • Name: “Mind over matter”
  • Action: +2 on your next Will Saving Throw
  • Name: “Oh, I’ve just remembered something very important…”
  • Action: +5 to a skill check of your choice
  • Name: “Sometimes, it’s better to be lucky than good…”
  • Action: +2 Luck Bonus to AC for 1 Round
  • Name: “Somewhere, someone just wished they could, Edit, Undo, something in real life.”
  • Action: Reroll last attack roll
  • Name: “Surprise! NOT!!”
  • Action: Discard to act during surprise round.
  • Name: “TAKE COVER!!!”
  • Action: +2 on your next Reflex Saving Throw
  • Name: “There’s never been a prison made that can hold me…”
  • Action: +20 to an Escape Artist check
  • Name: “We should really check over there…”
  • Action: +5 to a Search check
  • Name: “You missed me by that much… again…”
  • Action: +1 Luck Bonus to AC for 2 Rounds
  • Name: “You’re a marked man…”
  • Action: Pick a target. That target takes -1 to all rolls until end of combat
  • Name: “Your life force is mine…”
  • Action: Play Card. First Hit you get hit points equal to damage

  • Action: Auto Confirm Next Critical Hit

  • Action: All players must discard all Argonees Campaign Cards they are holding and draw a new one.
